This year's harvest in Guatemala was an outstanding one in our view, so we are bringing two coffees from the country into the range. Our natural comes from the Pampojilá farm, which belonged to the Diaz family for nearly 160 years — until 2010, when Hurricane Agatha did so much damage that they were forced to sell. Since then the farm has been run by the agricultural company Agropecuaria Atitlán, which has been able to make a great many improvements: new varieties planted, and the processing facilities modernised and expanded. That is what we have to thank for this wonderful coffee, whose natural processing makes for a remarkably liqueur-like, extra full-bodied drink. · Atitlán

About this lot
Grown on volcanic soil above Lake Atitlán and naturally processed. A full-bodied, cocoa-led cup that behaves well as espresso too.
We buy small lots and roast them in batches we can taste all the way through. Every bag carries its roast date — not a best-before, because coffee does not spoil, it only loses its best.
